4. Application SFCHEM 1098 is an excellent antioxidant for polyamide fibers, molded articles and films. It can be added prior to polymerization, to protect polymer color properties during manufacturing, shipping or thermal fixation. During the last stages of polymerization or by dry blending on nylon chips, fiber can be protected by incorporating SFCHEM 1098 in the polymer melt.
5. Safety The use of proper protective equipment is recommended. Excess exposure to the product should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling. Store the product in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible materials, keep tightly closed. With proper storage, shelf life of this product is 24 months from the manufacture date.
